This is an original acrylic painting on a 14x11 inch canvas, varnished and framed.
In this artwork, a pixie-like figure has been under duress from injustices and challenges that have been no fault of hers. It represents how each of us, at some point, endure hardships that seem intent on breaking us. We tire from the withering assault on our mental and physical health. We reach the point of being “almost broken”, but with resilience, courage, and hope, in the end, we emerge triumphant. The two wish flowers (dandelions) represent that hope and the worth of resolving to carry on.
