The sea is mighty and powerful. Although it nurtures untold numbers of abundant life and sustains humanity as well, it requires, at times, a demonstration of its incredible power. The great waves that roll in from the sea are a reminder of the strength and force of nature, and how small we really are against the backdrop of the natural world. It commands respect, and this painting pays homage to it.
